We are all different.

Some smaller than others.

I was photographing at the Queens Botanical Garden, when this little guy appeared in my shot.

“I always liked the idea that America is a big facade.

We are all insects crawling across on the shiny hood of a Cadillac.

We’re all looking at the wrapping.

But we won’t tear the wrapping to see what lies beneath.”
~Tom Waits

Have you ever seen this kind of insect? If so PLEASE comment below and share your knowledge.

“Our treasure lies in the beehive of our knowledge.

We are perpetually on the way thither,

being by nature winged insects and honey gatherers of the mind.”

 ~Friedrich Nietzsche

“If we were to wipe out insects alone on this planet,

the rest of life and humanity with it would mostly disappear from the land

within a few months.” ~E. O. Wilson
