Pondering…

Q: Why do I love quotes so much?
A: I believe they are concentrated versions of their makers. It is a piece of advice from ordinary people that became extraordinary. People that made a mark on the world.

A little something to think about this weekend.

Be productive.

Go Do It!

“Rarely do we find men who willingly engage in hard, solid thinking. There is an almost universal quest for easy answers and half-baked solutions. Nothing pains some people more than having to think.”

~Martin Luther King, Jr.

“Positive thinking will let you do everything better than negative thinking will.”

~Zig Ziglar

“Why should we think upon things that are lovely?

Because thinking determines life.

It is a common habit to blame life upon the environment.

Environment modifies life but does not govern life.

The soul is stronger than its surroundings.”

~William James

~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Man can alter his life by altering his thinking.”
~William James
Saved the best for last.
“It is no good getting furious if you get stuck.
What I do is keep thinking about the problem but work on something else.
Sometimes it is years before I see the way forward.
In the case of information loss and black holes, it was 29 years.”
~Stephen Hawking
How will you make your mark on the world?
  1. I think I am leaving my mark already with wine stains and chocolate marks – ha! Like my one girlfriend stated to me she is going with a wine glass in one hand and a chocolate bar in the other:) Love Zig Ziglar quotes – the gym I go to has some on the walls for inspiration and motivation. Happy Weekend!
