This post is dedicated to the memory of Alfred Stieglitz.

Yesterday, I walked in the steps of my favorite photographer Alfred Stieglitz. I visited the home where he was raised in Hoboken, NJ.

Two weeks prior I was climbing the steps of St. Nicholas park in Harlem, and got a warm, fuzzy feeling knowing that Stieglitz had probably climbed those very steps many times when he attended City College of New York approximately 139 years ago. He had a very important role in making photography what it is today: an art. What can I say? I am a sentimentalist, little details like this move me.
